Conversaciones con Pachacamac
Video Installation

On the Andean mythology, Pachacamac appears as a fire god and sun's son. He was considered the ruler of the world balance, a flat world that had finished on the sea. People believed that he was the world rejuvenator, created by Viracocha (World creator).
Conversations whit Pachacamac it is a series of paintings where I try to start a private and loneliness dialog whit this character. I search the equilibrium that he had had as an antique divinity. And the Video Instalation: Red or the Qorilazo’s crying where a character who is inspired by the popular Andean tradition, starts a self portrait. He and the natural forces are together in the coolness of a depressive ritual. The natural forces are represented by “Huayno”. This is a typical music from peruvian Andean region.
